Unit 8 - Implementing Subtle Mind and Meditation into Daily Life

I have learned quite a bit about the subtle mind and meditation.  Both aspects can offer clarity and calmness to my mental state and allow all negativity to be released.  The subtle mind practice makes me aware of my thought process, how I react to certain situations and can bring me back, emotionally and mentally, to a calmer state.

I can continue to practice these forms of exercise and incorporate them into my daily routine to ensure I can foster mental fitness.  Just like any form of physical exercise, it is essential to continue a healthy lifestyle each and every day.  Practicing forms of mental and emotional clarity will also allow me to reach my mental fitness goals.

    I also feel I have learned a lot this semester about meditation and mental fitness. I have always heard people talk about how beneficial meditation was but had never really given it a fair chance. Now I can say that it truly benefits me and makes me feel much calmer and at peace. Did you have this same experience? I love your comment that mental fitness is just like physical fitness and needs to be maintained. What kind of mental fitness goals do you have?
